Fran is the chief executive officer of a South African publishing house, an accomplished artist and an author in her own right. Although a very private person, and breasts are a very personal subject for any woman, Fran decided to go public because she believes that manufacturers and certain plastic surgeons have been treating millions of women worldwide like lab rats. She has written this book to assist women wanting to obtain the bodies they desire by breast implant surgery to make an informed decision. She details the pitfalls that she had herself tumbled into with such naive innocence arising from the widely propagated myths that silicone gel-filled breast implants are not only harmless, they also last a lifetime.
